Crude oil price comes down

Surprisingly, the crude oil price has come down by two dollars. The crude oil price was continuously increasing these days. It went to a historically high 144 US dollars. But at present it has come down to 142 US dollars. If the price still comes down, do you think the govt will come forward to reduce the prices???
